The challenge

The OEM had discontinued support.

A maintenance team had one worn housing and incomplete service records. Bearing locations, sealing interfaces, and mounting geometry needed to be reconstructed without copying service wear.

The approach

Measure function first.

The sample was cleaned, measured, and modeled around functional datums. Fits were restored from mating-part evidence, then the housing was machined and inspected against the approved drawing.

The result

A repeatable replacement, not a one-off copy.

The project produced a verified CAD model, manufacturing drawing, and controlled replacement batch ready for future reorder.
